O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent-Police to file a final report in Crime No.19/2023, dated 19.01.2023, pending investigation on the file of the Respondent Police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that based on the petitioner's complaint, the respondent-Police registered a case in Crime No.19 of 2023 on 19.01.2023. Since the respondent has not yet filed a final report, the petitioner is constrained to file this criminal original petition.

4. Since the F.I.R is of the year 2023, the respondent-Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order,

failing which, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Vadapalani is directed to appear before this Court.

5. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
