This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to file final report in Crime No.16 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent police. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the FIR was registered in the year 2016 and the petitioner approached the second respondent on various dates to expedite the investigation but till now no action has been taken. Stating so, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for a direction to the second respondent police to file final report within a stipulated time frame.
3.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.

4.Since the First Information Report has been filed in the year 2016 and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.16 of 2016 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
