Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records pertaining to the impugned detention order vide S.C.No.75 of 2015 dated 11.8.2015 passed by the second respondent and approved by the first respondent herein and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to produce the detenu, Chinnakuzhandai son of Pachaiappan, aged 50 years, now confined at Central Prison, Salem, before this Court and set him at liberty to secure the ends of justice.

[Order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN, J.] The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu, Chinnakuzhandai, son of Pachaiappan, aged about 50 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 11.8.2015 against her husband branding him as a "Sexual Offender" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982]. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 11.8.2015 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.6284, dated 6.10.2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
