PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.09.2024 pursuant to passing out of Teachers Eligibility Test Examination (TET) conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) during the year 2013 vide Roll No.13TE15203092, attended certificate verification vide Ref.No.M4080 dated 09.05.2014 TRB at KVS Higher Secondary School, Virudhunagar and written examination vide application No.BTBRTE012933 dated 07.01.2024.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.09.2024 pursuant to passing out of Teachers Eligibility Test Examination (TET) conducted by the fourth respondent during the year 2013 vide Roll No.13TE15203092, attended certificate verification vide Ref.No.M4080 dated 09.05.2014 TRB at KVS Higher Secondary School, Virudhunagar and written examination vide application No.BTBRTE012933 dated 07.01.2024. 2/6

2. The case of the petitioner is that she had completed her degree in B.Sc Mathematics in the year 2007 and completed B.Ed degree in the year 2010. Thereafter, the petitioner participated in a TET examination conducted by the fifth respondent in the year 2013 and she passed out in that examination and scored 82 marks out of 150 and then she was called for certificate verification and she attended it on 09.05.2014. Thereafter, she had participated in written examination on 07.01.2024 conducted by the fifth respondent. Eventhough, the petitioner is fully qualified to be appointed as Graduate Assistant Teacher, neither her name has been considered for appointment nor she was provided with any appointment. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 10.09.2024 to the respondents requesting them to consider her name for appointment to the post of graduate assistant teacher, but, as it did not evoke any response, it has necessitated the filing of this Writ Petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first to fourth respondents would submit that the petitioner's request would be considered in accordance with law.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, directs the respondents to consider the representation dated 10.09.2024 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
