This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to add two marks to the petitioner for recruitment of Sub-Inspector of Police (Men-open quota) 2006 and further direct the respondents to select and appoint the petitioner as Sub-Inspector of Police under open candidates quota and grant all consequential service and monetary benefits.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.
