PRAYER:
Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to lift the lock out declared on 15.05.
2012 and commence the production and operations of the Company on such terms and conditions the company may deem fit in the interest of the petitioners and also permit the management to opt for other sources of employment temporarily to complete the existing orders which are due for dispatch till the issues are sorted out between the 1st, 2nd and 3rd respondents and further directing the other respondents to co-operate for the same and more particularly the fourth respondent to provide police protection to the workmen and material in the first respondent company premises situated at 33 Gopalan Kadai Road, Kurumbapet Road, Pondicherry - 605 009 and consequently direct the workers belonging to the third respondent union, their men, agents or associates or any one acting under them to refrain from interfering in any manner, with the ingress and egress of men and materials in and out of the first respondent company or demonstrating or stalling work within 500 meters of the gates of the petitioner's factory.

ORDER
The learned counsel for the petitioners, as well as the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent, submitted that pending the writ petition, all these petitioners had entered into a settlement with the management, whereby the dispute was amicably settled among themselves and they have also received the compensation as a full and final settlement.
2. Recording the said submission, no effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
