PRAYER : This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.12.2022 on the file of respondent herein by granting Police protection to the family of the petitioner to secure the ends of justice. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.12.2022 on the file of respondent herein by granting Police protection to the family of the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner and her husband has a son named Pradhab. The said Pradhab was abducted by certain members and he was forced to marry one Kalaivani. Petitioner son filed HMOP.No.171 of 2022 on the file of the Sub Court, Chidambaram for nullifying the marriage. When the HMOP is pending, respondents 4 to 7 tried to harm the petitioner and her family members with death threat. Therefore, this petition is 2/5

filed.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that, petitioner had already given a complaint dated 27.12.2022. On the basis of the complaint, enquiry was conducted. Both the parties were called for enquiry and the accused stated that, they have not made any threat against the petitioner. Petitioner also stated that, because of poor visibility during night time, he has given a wrong complaint and requested no further action was necessary. On the basis of her statement, petitioner enquiry was closed on 29.12.2022.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Court directs the respondents police to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2022, there is a threat to the petitioner and her family members from the respondents 4 to 7. 3/5

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
