Respondents Prayer : The Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, to direct the learned Principal District Judge at Chengalpattu to commence and complete the trial of the suit in O.S.No.160 of 2020 within a specific time framed fixed by this Court preferably within a period of six months.

ORDER

The present Civil Revision Petition seeks expeditious disposal of the suit in O.S.No.160 of 2020 on the file of the learned Principal District Judge at Chengalpattu.

2. O.S.No.160 of 2020 is a suit for declaration of title and for declaration that the sale deed executed in favour of the 1st and the 2nd defendants is null and void, and the plaint also seeks permanent injunction against the defendants from in any manner creating or encumbering the suit property.

3. The plaintiff, who is a senior citizen aged about 84 years today, is knocking on the doors of the Court.

4. The pleadings have been completed, and the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that P.W.1 has filed his proof affidavit, and the matter is now posted for marking of documents on 22.07.2024. In fact, a perusal of the plaint shows that the defendants are also senior citizens, who are aged Page No 2 of 4

about 74 and 72 years respectively.

5. Taking into consideration the age of the parties and since the matter has been taken up for trial, the learned Principal District Judge is requested to dispose of the suit within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
