Contempt petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971 to punish the respondent for committed willful disobedience of the order of this Court made in WMP.No.762 of 2024 in WP.No.747 of 2024 dated 09.01.2024.

ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondents for disobeying the order passed by this Court in WMP.No.762 of 2024 in WP.No.747 of 2024 dated 09.01.2024, thereby granted interim stay.

2. It is seen that the above writ petition was filed challenging the order of reverting the petitioner from the post of Joint Director of Fire and Rescue Services to the Deputy Director of Fire and Rescue Services. At the time of admission of the writ petition, this Court granted interim stay on 09.01.2024.

3. However, Mr.R.Neelakandan, the learned Additional Advocate General submitted that on 09.01.2024 in the forenoon itself, one, Saravanakumar joined in the place of the petitioner as Joint Director of Fire 2/4

and Rescue Services and the petitioner was relieved from the post of Joint Director of Fire and Rescue Services.

4. Therefore, no contempt is maintainable as against the respondents since no order has been violated by the respondents.
