Heard Mr.N.Suresh, learned counsel for the petitioner. None appears on behalf of the respondents inspite of printing the name of the counsel in the cause list.

2. The petitioner has come up with this writ petition with a grievance that her application, dated 2.5.1997, submitted for giving agricultural service connection, was not taken up for consideration by the respondents.

3. The documents produced by the petitioner indicates that she has made an application on 2.5.1997 for extending agricultural service connection and it was received by the Assistant Engineer, Urban, Valavanur, Villupuram Taluk.

4. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner on 2.5.1997, on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
