ORDER

Seeking a direction to the second respondent police to register the complaint dated 15.04.2015 lodged by the petitioner and proceed in accordance with law, she has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. On reading of the complaint, it appears that the petitioner is working as Assistant in PWD Department and that she had made some allegations against her colleague, by name Sivakumar to the higher authorities. It is further stated in the complaint that there was altercation between the petitioner, Sivakumar, Sujatha and Chitra, who were also colleagues and the matter was compromised at the intervention of the senior officials and it was closed.

4. In a complaint of this nature, it would not be proper for the respondent Police to enter into a Government Office and conduct investigation. Internal discipline has to be maintained by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the superior officers of the department.

5. Under such circumstances, this Court cannot give any positive direction as prayed for the petitioner to the respondent police. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
