The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondent forthwith to promote the writ petitioner as Foreman First Grade, with effect from the date on which his juniors have been promoted 2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner states that after filing of the writ petition, the writ petitioner was retired from service. Thus, he has to get the benefit of notional promotion on par with his juniors for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

monetary benefits. The writ petitioner in this regard has submitted a representation on 13.12.2013 to the respondent. 3.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 13.12.2013 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
