The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.452 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act.

2.The petitioner was remanded to custody on 15.12.2023 with possession of 13 kgs of ganja.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner pointed out that the contraband seized was intermediate quantity.

4.It is stated by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent that the petitioner had reached Central Railway Station and was travelling in an auto with two bags. When he was checked, it was found to be containing 13 kgs of ganja. Though the quantity may be intermediate quantity it is still substantial. Therefore, let further investigation be done.
