ORDER

When the Contempt Petition was taken up, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 3 produced a copy of the proceedings in Rc.No.2472/2015/A10 dated 27.01.2022 sent by the Joint Director/Project Director, District Rural Development Agency, Kancheepuram to him, wherein, it is inter alia stated as follows: "... The Hon'ble Court has ordered on 09.10.2018 in W.P. No. 10679/2018 that the payment may be released for the board if found fit. As per the above report received from the existing Block Development Officers and concerned Zonal Officers, the petitioner is eligible to be paid only for 399 boards. Therefore, at the first instance, for the installation of 322 boards, it was calculated to pay a sum of Rs.19,19,920/- as Gross amount and he was paid a Net amount of Rs.

16,76,091/- after deducting income tax and 10% fine on belated supply of boards. At the second instance, for the installatin of 77 boards it was calculated to pay a sum of Rs.4,70,240/- as Gross Amount and he was paid a Net Amount of Rs. 4,10,520/- after deducting income tax and 10% fine on belated supply of boards.

which were found fit and thereby the orders of the Hon'ble Court, dated 09.10.2018 in W.P. No. 10679/2018 has been complied with." Placing reliance on the same, the learned counsel submitted that the order of this Court dated 09.10.2018 has been complied with. 2.On the other hand, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there are discrepancies in the settlement of bills, for which, the petitioner is inclined to approach the authority concerned for appropriate relief in the manner known to law.

3.Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this contempt petition stands closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in an appropriate manner as provided under the law.
