The petitioner has filed this contempt petition to punish the respondent for disobeying the orders of this Court in W.P.No.25775 of 2012 dated 23.01.2018.

Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that against the order passed by this Court a writ appeal has been filed and the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court has passed an interim order of stay.

3. In view of the above, the contempt petition cannot be kept pending and the same is closed. It is always open to the petitioner to renew the contempt, if he is so advised in future. Consequently, connected sub application is also closed.
