PRAYER in W.P.No. 38457 of 2002: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarifed Mandamus, calling for the entire proceeding in Na.Ka.No.2769/AA2/1998 dated 20.02.2002 on the file of the 2nd respondent the District Educational Officer, Tuticorin and quash the same and to direct the Respondent herein to release the grant with regard to the 11 teachers appointed in the petitioner Rosammal Memorial Higher Secondary School, Tuticorin in pursuance of G.O.Ms.No. 523, School Education (D-1) Department

dated 29.12.1997.

PRAYER in W.P.No. 6057 of 2005: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarifed Mandamus, calling for the entire records, leading to the issue of proceedings bearing Na.Ka.No. 42633/G2/O3 dated 26.04.2004 on the file of the 5th respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to grant permanent recognition to the Petitioner's Minority Higher Secondary School namely Rosammal Memorial Higher Secondary School, Tuticorin, and permit the students of the petitioner school therein to pursue their studies peacefully. C O M M O N O R D E R Today, when the writ petitions are taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the prayer in the writ petitions has become infructuous. Therefore, nothing survives in the present writ petitions.

2. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that no further adjudication is required. Accordingly, the present writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
