These civil miscellaneous petitions have been filed seeking leave to file the respective writ appeals.

When the matters are taken up for hearing, Mr.

Ramanlal, learned Additional Advocate General submitted that the original owner namely G.C. Sivaraj had withdrawn the writ appeal filed earlier and that appeals filed by third parties are not maintainable.

Since the entire issue has got to be gone into, we grant leave to file the appeals. It is also made clear that the grant of leave to file the appeals will not preclude the respondents from raising objections regarding the maintainability of the appeals.
