Mr.R.Vigneshwaran, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for respondents. With the consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has given a representation to the respondents on 07.11.2023, seeking to survey the land comprised in New Survey Nos.582/1A and 582/1B, Old S.No.582/1, Patta Nos.189 and 234 in Chettiswharan Kovil Street, Vikkaravandi (West) Village, Vikkaravandi, Villupuram District, by paying requisite fees through e-challan dated 30.10.2023. Since there was no response from the respondents till date, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Since this writ petition is filed for a simple Mandamus to consider the representation of the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any view or opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.11.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, adjacent owners of four boundaries of subject properties as well as rival claimants/interested parties if any as the case may be, and after conducting enquiry, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
