PRAYER: Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, praying to amend the name of the Court as the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Salem, instead of the Special Court for Land Grabbing Cases, Salem, to comply with the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.15486 of 2025 in Crl.R.C.No.1423 of 2025 dated 14.08.2025.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to amend the name of the Court as "the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Salem", instead of the "Special Court for Land Grabbing Cases, Salem, Salem District", to comply with the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.15486 of 2025 in Crl.R.C.No.1423 of 2025, dated 14.08.2025.

2. In view of the averments adduced in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this petition is ordered as prayed for. The Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendments in an order dated 14.08.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.15486 of 2025 in Crl.R.C.No.1423 of 2025 and issue a fresh copy of the order forthwith.
