The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the third respondent to complete the laying of road in the land comprised in Block No.3, T.S.No.10/171/1 of Krishnarayapuram Village, Coimbatore Taluk to the total length of 289 feet.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that when the said road is to be laid to the total length of 289 feet, the third respondent stopped the length up to 258 feet, thereby leaving the remaining 24 feet without laying road. Ventilating such grievance, the petitioner made a representation on 20.11.2017. It is also stated that the second respondent in his report dated 30.11.2017 informed that the remaining 24 feet road is also under the sanctioned project. Therefore, the petitioner contends that the third respondent has to consider and complete the formation of the road to the fullest extent.
3.Though the matter is listed today, none appears for the third respondent to explain as to why the remaining extent of 24 feet road has not been laid. In any event, as the representation of the petitioner is pending before the respondent, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider the said representation of the
petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, without loss of further time, however, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
