PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents police to register the case against one J.Santhi, W/o. Jeyaraman, her son J.Mohan, her daughter J.Shoba @ Sarashwathi, her grandson Raji and her Associates namely Sanmugam Dhanraj, Ranjith based on the complaint dated 21.10.2021, 05.01.2022 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is to direct the respondents police to register the case against one J.Santhi, W/o. Jeyaraman, her son J.Mohan, her daughter J.Shoba @ Sarashwathi, her grandson Raji and her Associates namely Sanmugam Dhanraj, Ranjith based on the complaint dated 21.10.2021, 05.01.2022 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the Chief Minister Cell, Chennai on 21.10.2021 and to the first respondent on the same date followed by another complaint to the Chief Minister Cell on 05.01.2021 which was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

forwarded to the second respondent, the second respondent has not chosen to take action on the same.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that enquiry would be conducted on the complaint of the petitioner and same would be completed within a period of three weeks.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner dated 05.01.2022, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This Criminal Original Petition has been disposed of with the above directions.
