Mr.R.U.Dinesh Rajkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 29.08.2023.

3. Heard both sides.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said appeal has not been disposed of by the first respondent so far.

5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the appeal filed by the petitioner, as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the appeal dated 29.08.2023 filed by the petitioner and pass Pg.Nos.2/4

appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, if the same has not been disposed of so far, after hearing the petitioner and rival claimants, if any, as the case may be within the stipulated time as stated in Circular No.R1/2005632/2022 dated 17.07.2023 issued by the Commissioner of Land Administration.
