Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd , 3rd and 4th respondents herein to ensure and to afford complete and adequate police protection to the petitioner to enable the petitioner to make its own arrangements including enrolment of its individuals or through other sources including the registered contractors and carry out all its duties connected with loading and unloading /movement of the stock, material

inside / from the factory while the 5th respondent continue their illegal strike.

ORDER

The matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal" today. There is no representation on the side of the petitioner. In an earlier occasion i.e., on 14.02.2020, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has no instruction in this matter and hence, this Court directed the Registry to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list and list the matter on 21.02.2020. Despite printing the name of the petitioner in the causelist on 21.02.2020, there was no representation on the side of the petitioner and hence, Registry was directed to list the matter under the caption "for dismissal" today i.e., on 26.02.2012. It can now be inferred that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
