ORDER
The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family under the guise of enquiry.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) assisted by learned Government Advocate (Puducherry) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, submitted that on the complaint given by the third respondent, an enquiry was conducted by the second respondent. He further submitted that the petitioner was called only for the purpose of enquiry and was not harassed during the process. However, the complaint has now been closed, as the dispute between the parties was found to be civil in nature.

Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) assisted by learned Government Advocate (Puducherry), this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. 23-01-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order SRM
