The Petitioner/wife has filed this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition seeking to withdraw the I.D.O.P.No.1696 of 2024 pending on the 1/4

file of the District Family Court, Coimbatore and transfer the same to the file of the Family Court, Dindigul.

2. The respondent-husband has filed I.D.O.P.No.1696 of 2024 on the file of the District Family Court, Coimbatore for divorce.

3. The petitioner-wife would submit that she is residing with her aged parents at Dindigul District. She finds it very difficult to travel more than 150 kms from Dindigul to Coimbatore to attend the hearings and that apart, she will not be in a position to return the very same day and would have to stay overnight at Coimbatore. The husband has also not been giving any maintenance to her. Hence, she sought for transfer.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record. Though the respondent has been served with notice privately, he has not entered appearance either in person or through counsel.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and looking into the grievances expressed by the petitioner, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and I.D.O.P.No.1696 of 2024 pending on the file of the District Family Court, Coimbatore shall stand withdrawn and transferred to the file of the District Family Court, Dindigul.
