2. However, today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.N.Alagu Narayanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition and he has also made endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the above submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
