ORDER

[Order of the Court by C.T.SELVAM, J.] Petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu viz., Deenadayalan, aged 52 years, sought production of her son.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner as also learned Additional Public Prosecutor for first respondent.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the detenu/husband of the second respondent, an alcoholic, had been admitted in Trustway Foundation at Pallavaram and on verification by the respondent police, it has been ascertained that the second respondent/wife is paying a sum of Rs.7,000/- per month in the fond hope that her husband/the detenu would be freed from the addiction.

4. In the said circumstances, this Petition does not survive consideration. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition shall stand dismissed.
