ORDER

Mrs.P.Kavitha, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 24.07.2017 to the second respondent, seeking time scale of pay, by calculating the service rendered by him as Sanitary Worker on consolidated pay from 01.09.1992 and also promotion to the post of Librarian Grade-III and the said representation is pending, without any consideration. Hence, the present writ petition.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that the respondent authorities would consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
