ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioners and not to conduct the Kattapanchayat in the complaint lodged by Munusamy which is pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent police.

3. The matter pertains to the civil dispute between the parties. This matter cannot be enquired by the police. Hence, the respondent is directed to not to harass the petitioners in the name of enquiry and the parties shall be relegated before the appropriate Civil Court.
