Respondents in both W.Ps Prayer in W.P.No.41596 of 2002 : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to proceeding bearing No.AA/PER/IR/BAP dated 21.08.2002 on the file of the fifth respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 4 to release the promotion list in respect of supervisory cadre pertaining to the petitioner's Union.
Prayer in W.P.No.22922 of 2010 : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of declaration to declare Rules 4.1. 4.2, 4.3, 4.5 and 6 of the Promotion Policy Rules as illegal, invalid and violative of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and principles of natural justice and consequently direct the second respondent to frame promotion policy rules within the parameters of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India setting forth objective standards for promotion to the post of E1 Grade Executive Grade from the post of S3/S4 Grade Supervisor and for promotion to the post of S4, S5, S6, S7 and S8 Grade Supervisors from amongst the Supervisory cadre.
