ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the father of one Gopinath, aged about 19 years. According to the petitioner, Mr.Gopinath has been found missing from 30.06.2016 onwards. In this regard, on a complaint made by him, a case was registered in Cr.No.1115 of 2016 for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

"Boy missing". Since the detenu has not been secured by the police, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions from the second respondent, that the investigation so far revealed that there is no illegal detention of the detenu. In fact, the detenu borrowed money from various persons and since there was pressure from creditors, he had gone underground. But efforts are being made to secure the detenu. 3.

In view of the said submissions, since we are convinced that there is no illegal detention, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed with a direction to the second respondent to expedite the investigation.
