The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 11.12.2015 in C.S.R.No.997 of 2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. In the petition it has been stated that the petitioner owns property at Nanmangalam Village. The value of the said property is more than 10 crores. Knowing the said fact, the daughter in law of the petitioner Mrs. Vijaya and sister of Vijaya Mrs.Sarala, Venkat, Ramesh and Gopi threatened the petitioner and her husband Mr.Elumalai to execute a document in favour of Vijaya. On 10.12.2015, the above said persons came to the petitioner's residence and attacked the petitioner and her husband with knife and wooden log. Hence, the petitioner has given a complaint on 11.12.2015. But, till date no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present criminal original petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, C.S.R.No.997 of 2015 has been assigned and the matter is pending for enquiry.

5. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 11.12.2015 in C.S.R.No.997 of 2015 and proceed further in accordance with law.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
