ORDER

Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, both the learned counsel for Petitioner and learned counsel for respondent appeared and submitted that both parties have arrived a settlement between them. To that effect, mediation was held between the parties before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Chennai and the settlement agreement was also executed. Accordingly, the defacto complainant had received a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- as full and final settlement and compensation for all claims arising out of the criminal case. The respondent/complainant also acknowledged the receipt of the said amount in full satisfaction of all claims. In view of compromise, since he had received the amount and agreed to withdraw all the criminal proceedings, the matter was settled. He has no further claim. To that effect, the Settlement Agreement is recorded. Thus, the petitioner is acquitted from the proceedings in C.C.No. 53 of 2010 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.1, Gobichettipalayam. 2/4

2. In the result, this Criminal Revision Case is disposed of as the matter was settled between the parties in terms of a settlement agreement. The settlement agreement shall be forming part and parcel of this order.
