ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records in Crl.M.P.No.19398 of 2022 in Crl.A.No.247 of 2022, dated 13.10.2022, on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai and set aside the same. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that second petitioner was convicted and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for six months and to pay Rs.30,00,000/- as compensation to the complainant within a period of 30 days from the date of the order, in default, to undergo simple imprisonment for three months in C.C.No.9424/2018, on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, FTC -II, Egmore @ Allikulam, Chennai. 3.Against this judgment, petitioner filed Crl.A.No.247 of 2022 along with a petition for suspension of sentence in Crl.M.P.No.19398 of 2022.
The Principal Sessions Judge, while ordering suspension of sentence on 13.10.2022, directed the petitioners to deposit 20% of the compensation amount to the credit of C.C.No.9424/2018, on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, FTC -II, Egmore @ Allikulam, Chennai, within a period of sixty days from the date of the order.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioners, during the course of his submission, restricted his prayer seeking extension of time for a period of two weeks. Therefore, without going into the merits of the petition, this Court disposes of this petition giving two weeks time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for depositing 20% of the compensation amount to the credit of C.C.No.9424 of 2018, on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, FTC -II, Egmore @ Allikulam, Chennai.
