O R D E R

Mr.M.Hariharan, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondent and states that the impugned notice initiating coercive recovery action for arrears of Central Sales Tax dated 18.01.2021 stands withdrawn on 22.01.2021.

2. Though the impugned notice refers to the enactment of Central Sales Tax Act, 1956 Mr.Raveendran, states that the arrears relates to the Tamil Nadu General Sales Tax Act, 1959. Mr.Hariharan, also confirms this position.

3. To be noted that RC.No.473/2020/A3 mentioned in the impugned communication is what is stated in the letter of withdrawal as well.

4. In the light of the aforesaid, nothing survives in this writ petition and the same is hence closed. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
