ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J) IDBI Bank Limited, represented by its Authorised Officer, Chennai, has sought for a writ of mandamus, directing the District Magistrate-cum-Collector to dispose of the application dated 05.01.2017 bearing File No.233/DRDM/C3/SARFAESI/2017, under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002.

2. Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondy) takes notice for the respondent.

3. Mr.Shivakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the said application, hearing was held on 31.01.2018.

4. Having regard to the limited submission of the learned counsel for the bank, District Magistrate-cum-Collector, Pondicherry, is directed to dispose of the application dated 05.01.2017, if not done earlier, within a period of three weeks, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. While doing so, District Magistrate-cum-Collector, Pondicherry, is directed to consider the parameters set out in Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002.
