Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to restore the electricity connection No.048014604 to the premises of the petitioner i.e. Door No.382 (Old)/ 4/665-556/A, Gnana Adaikkala Puram, Pallipadai, Chidambaram taluk - 608 001, Cuddalore District.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to restore the electricity connection No.048014604 to her premises at Door No.382 (Old)/ 4/665-556/A, Gnana Adaikkala Puram, Pallipadai, Chidambaram Taluk - 608 001, Cuddalore District.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has also made a representation dated 30.10.2017 to that effect. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents have not considered the said representation so far.

4. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the 5th and 6th respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other affected parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the 5th and 6th respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
