This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the first respondent to give instruction to the second respondent to register the complaint dated 17.04.2014 and take action against the accused.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 17.04.2014, given by this petitioner, the dispute essentially appears to be between landlord and tenant, with regard to installation of Air Conditioning unit. In the cases of this nature, Police cannot be directed to register the FIR.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
