ORDER

The petitioner, while serving as Salesman in Shop No.2907 at Kadathur Liquor Shop controlled by the respondent-TASMAC Limited, was transferred to Matlampatty Shop No.2841 on 27.7.2016 and has been working there since then. All of a sudden, he was placed under suspension on 18.10.2016 alleging deficit of Rs.12,670/-, which was found during the audit inspection conducted by the respondent on 8.10.2016. Thereafter, he was issued with a charge memo levelling four charges on 4.11.2016, for which he has submitted a detailed representation on 11.11.2016. In the meanwhile, the petitioner has also given a representation on 20.3.2017 requesting the respondent to reconsider the suspension order. But the same has not been looked into. Therefore he has come to this Court.

2. Mr.Kennedy, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

This Court, considering the limited prayer, hereby directs the respondent to consider the pending representation of the petitioner on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.11172 & 11173 of 2017 are closed. No costs.
