This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.2 of 2016 on the file of the respondent-police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Crime No.2 of 2016 has been completed and final report was filed on 29.03.2016 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Dharmapuri and the same has not been taken on file.

4. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Dharmapuri, is directed to pass appropriate orders on the final report within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Liberty is given to the petitioner to challenge the final report.

With the above direction, this petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
