ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner and his Pangalis to conduct the Devam ceremony at Arulmighu Ayyanarappan and Pudavaikariyamman temple situated at Yercaud Main Road by providing necessary police protection. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has already given change of vakalat and he has also informed the petitioner about the case being listed today in the Court.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent produced the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 27.02.2025 and the relevant portions are extracted hereunder:

4/7 4.In the considered view of this Court, in the light of the order passed by the 1st respondent and also in the light of the fact that the ceremony itself was over in the year 2023, nothing survives for adjudication at this length of time

5/7 and accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
