ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by C.V.Karthikeyan J.) The petition has been filed seeking to extend the time to pay the costs of Rs.1,500/- directed by this Court in CMP No.30084 of 2024, by order dated 31.07.2025.

2.The costs were directed to be paid to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, Chennai on or before 14.08.2025. Thereafter, the appeal was directed to be numbered and listed for admission on 18.08.2025. This petition seeking extension of time has been filed only on 09.01.2026, after the expiry of the period. The Court's hands are closed on and from 14.08.2025 and the petitioner having slept cannot now call upon the Court to extend the time. In the affidavit filed giving reasons for the delay, it had been stated that the petitioner suffered from jaundice and was advised complete bed rest, but however, no medical evidence for the same has been enclosed. 3.We are not inclined to allow the petition.
