J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The appellant is the sole accused in S.C.No.85 of 2013 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Krishnagiri. By judgment dated 04.03.2014, the Trial Court convicted the accused for offence under Section 302 IPC and sentenced to undergo imprisonment for life and pay a fine of Rs.5,000/-, in default to undergo simple imprisonment for six months. Challenging the said conviction and sentence, the appellant is before this Court with this appeal.

2. When the appeal was taken up, the learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the appellant died on 09.04.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would also say the same. He has produced the death certificate issued by the Vellore Municipality. No one has come up on record to prosecute the appeal on behalf of the appellant. Thus the appeal stands abated.
