[ RESPONDENTS ] Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 5.1.2016 for licence as per rule 6 of the Tamilnadu Regulation of Wood Based Industries Rules 2010 and to issue inheritance Transfer of licence in his name within time frame. Heard Ms.K.Jenitha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.M.K.Subramaniam, learned Special Government Pleader, accepting notice for the respondents 1 to 4 and with the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 5.1.2016 for licence as per rule 6 of the Tamilnadu Regulation of Wood Based Industries Rules, 2010 and to issue inheritance Transfer of licence in his name. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent 1 to 4 submits that the third respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's Application. 4.In the light of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the petitioner's eligibility to secure a licence, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's Application dated 05.01.2016, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
