ORDER

A compliance report has been filed and it is seen that the Tahsildar through proceedings dated 15.03.2022 has rejected the claim made by the petitioner and refused to add the name of the petitioner in the revenue records.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner raised serious objections regarding the proceedings of the Tahsildar and contended that it was a preconceived order wherein, the respondent even without considering the

genuine claim of the petitioner has mechanically rejected the same. To substantiate the same, the attention of this Court has been drawn to the extract from the Town Survey Land Register dated 24.02.2022, wherein, the names of the other persons interested in the property has been added through proceedings dated 21.12.2021, except the name of the petitioner. 3.It was only after coming to know of this proceeding, the petitioner had filed the contempt petition.

4.In the considered view of this Court, the petitioner may be having a genuine grievance against the order passed by the respondent. However, this Court cannot go into the correctness or otherwise of the order passed, considering the scope of the direction issued in the writ petition. Hence, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the order of the respondent in the manner known to law.
