ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property, morefully
described in the prayer to this writ petition, in the light of G.O. (Ms) No.480 dated 11.09.2020, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner claims that she is in possession of the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. She claims that the property has been wrongly classified as 'Tharisu'. Therefore, she seeks for re-classification of the land as 'House site' in the light of G.O. (Ms) No.480 dated 11.09.2020. The petitioner also seeks for issuance of patta in her name for the said property. The petitioner had given representations on 03.06.2024 and 24.12.2025 to the respondents seeking for re-classification as well as for issuance of patta. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.No prejudice would be caused to the second respondent if the petitioner's representations, as stated supra, are considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representations.
6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representations dated 03.06.2024 and 24.12.2025 seeking for re-classification of the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition from 'Tharisu' to 'House site' land in the light of G.O. (Ms) No.480 dated 11.09.2020 and for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
