ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Earlier the very same petitioner approached this Court by filing a writ petition in W.P.No.36442 of 2024 seeking for the very same relief. By order dated 06.12.2024, a direction was issued to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner for issuance of patta in a time bound manner. According to the petitioner, till date, despite the order dated 06.12.2024 passed in W.P.No.36442 of 2024, the respondent is yet to pass final orders on the petitioner's application for issuance of patta. The period of twelve (12) weeks fixed in the order dated 06.12.2024 passed in W.P.No.36442 of 2024 has also got lapsed.

Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and on instructions, he would submit that the respondent shall pass orders on the petitioner's application seeking for issuance of patta as directed by this Court in the earlier writ petition filed by the petitioner in W.P.No.36442 of 2024, dated 06.12.2024, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The said undertaking given by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent is recorded.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court, after recording the undertaking given by the respondent that they shall pass final orders on the petitioner's application seeking for issuance of patta for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, directs the respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's application seeking for issuance of patta, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that if final orders are not passed within the time stipulated by this Court, the respondent may be liable for contempt of court.
5. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
