ORDER
The present petition is filed for UDR correction of certain entries in the Village Permanent Register during the UDR scheme.
2. Earlier, this Court has passed an order dated 08.09.2015 in W.P.No.15950 of 2010, and that order has not been complied with till now. Hence, this Court required the District Collector, Chengalpattu District to log in, and the District Collector has logged in, and explained how the concerned
District Revenue Officer is attempting to secure the presence of the opposite parties.
3. The District Collector, Chengalpattu is also briefed how the administration operates, and how it can relieve the unnecessary burden on the Court, if the administrative system is self-operating.
4. Having recorded thus, Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader who enters appearance for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions makes a statement that the enquiry is scheduled to take place at 3.00 p.m on 12.02.2021 in the office of the second respondent.
5. Inasmuch as the date for enquiry is fixed by the respondents, no direction is required to be given except that the second respondent/District Revenue Officer, Chengalpattu District is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the said representation through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of service of order copy, subject to any time lost due to the responsibility assigned to the second respondent herein, in connection with the ensuing General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021.
