This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the first respondent to trace out and produce the detenue, by name, (i) Kanimozhi, aged 23 years and (ii) Logitha, aged 4 years, wife and minor daughter of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner is present and he has been identified by his counsel.
