On 20.08.2024 there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner, hence Registry was directed to list the matter under the caption "for dismissal" on 27.08.2024. Even today there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The learned Special Government Pleader produced a copy of the death certificate of the petitioner from which it is clear that the petitioner died as early as on 11.07.2016. After the death of the petitioner, her husband received the pension and thereafter he also died on 07.11.2018. The counsel therefore submits that nothing survives for further adjudication in the writ petition and also the writ petition stands abated.

2. Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, this writ petition is dismissed as

abated. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
